Oscar Apfel's Barn (He Directed The Squaw Man, In 1914)

Photobucket

I know, you heard it was De Mille's Barn, and HE directed The Squaw Man, in 1913! Thats what he liked to tell people...after Oscar Apfel was dead. CB was and AD...and they began shooting late in the afternoon on New Years Eve 1913...so the film was made in 1914. And it wasn't the first studio in Hollywood, Universal had operated at Sunset and Gower since 1910...DeMille had a tendancy to fib.
